You could spend your time at one of the many museums on your doorstep. Top picks include the Tower of London, the British Museum, and the Natural History Museum. Or you could board the famous London Eye to admire the city from above. The bird’s eye view you get from this Ferris wheel is remarkable.

And when it comes to dinner, you’re spoiled for choice. Take your pick from the huge variety of restaurants and food markets.

This morning, your guide will pick you and your fellow travellers up from your accommodation and you’ll hit the road. You’ll first travel to Windsor where you’ll visit the medieval Windsor Castle. As you walk through the royal residence’s corridors, admire the intricate architectural details and mesmerising Georgian décor.

The next stop on your journey is Stonehenge. Here you can delve into the history of the fascinating stone pillars and come up with your own theory of how the structure was formed. You’ll then continue your journey towards today’s destination, Bath. After checking into your accommodation, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner with your group.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll set out on a walking tour of beautiful Bath. The afternoon is free for you to explore some more of this city solo. Browse the local boutiques to pick up a souvenir to take home or enjoy a coffee in a local café. Today you’ll hit the road again. Your destination is York, but you’ll make a couple of stops along the way. Your first is the spellbinding Cotswolds region. The area is famous for its charming countryside and quaint towns. Make sure you snap some photos during your visit – it’s a truly picture-perfect spot.

Then, it’s on to the home of Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon. You'll embark on a short walking tour of this picturesque town, which includes Shakespeare’s birthplace and the New Place museum, before enjoying lunch at your leisure. You’ll then continue your journey to York. Enjoy some down time in your hotel before joining your group for dinner.

Get ready for a day of exploration, today, as you head out on a walking tour of York. Your guide will take you to the city’s main highlights. You’ll see the medieval City Walls, the monumental York Minster cathedral, the historic Shambles shopping street, and more. It’s a real whistlestop tour of the walled city.

The afternoon is then yours to enjoy as you wish. You could travel back in time with a visit to the Jorvik Viking Centre. Or you could enjoy a scenic boat trip along the River Ouse. You’ll get to enjoy a new perspective of the city while gliding along the water’s surface. Round off your day with a meal at a local eatery, and perhaps even a nightcap at a local bar.

Today, you’ll hop back in the mini-coach and continue your travels north. The first stop of the day will be at Hadrian’s Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient Roman fortification was built in 122 CE, and significant sections are still standing today.

You’ll also visit Alnwick Castle today. You may recognise this castle from the Harry Potter movies and TV’s Downton Abbey. It’s one of the largest of its kind that’s still inhabited in the UK and has an incredible history stretching back 950 years.

Your journey will end in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where you’ll spend your final night.

The day is yours to explore Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, at your leisure. Learn about the city’s fascinating history at Edinburgh Castle, located atop the craggy Castle Hill. From here, stroll down the cobblestone streets of the Old Town.

Stop for a drink in the famous Grassmarket, before heading to the iconic Royal Mile. You could stop in at St Giles Cathedral or Holyrood Palace for an added dose of Scottish history. Or take the short stroll up Calton Hill for incredible views of the city. You’ll get a bird’s eye view over Princes Street, the castle, Arthur’s Seat, and more.

Spend another night in Edinburgh.

Today you are exploring independently, so you can make the most of visiting at your own pace. Or you could book optional activities below for more guided experiences.

Today, you’ll meet up with your new guide and travel companions and set off on your epic trip around Scotland. First, you’ll drive across the Firth of Forth estuary, taking in views of the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Forth Rail Bridge and head north towards Inverness.

On the way, you’ll stop for a picturesque walk through the forest at the Hermitage, followed by a visit to the nearby town of Dunkeld. Your journey then continues through the Cairngorms National Park where you’ll delve into local history at the Highland Folk Museum.

Just before reaching Inverness, you’ll stop at the Battlefield of Culloden Moor, where the last battle on British soil took place in 1746. Nearby you will also visit the mysterious Clava Cairns, a series of tombs and standing stones dating back roughly 4,000 years.

Tonight, you’ll enjoy a delicious group dinner at your accommodation.

Experience some of Scotland’s most famous attractions today. Your guide will take you to the mysterious Loch Ness, where you will hop aboard a boat tour. This is your chance to take photos of the dramatic surroundings and see if you can catch a glimpse of Nessie.

Next up the guide will make a stop at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, a sight you will surely recognise from films. Then you will finally reach the Isle of Skye where dinner will be served at tonight’s accommodation.

Today you will have a full day to take in the magic of Skye, a haven for nature lovers. The guide will take you to the northern part of the island, to the breathtaking Trotternish Peninsula. This is where so many of the island’s mythical and spectacular landscapes lie.

Driving over the Quiraing, admire some of the jaw-dropping natural sights. You will see the waterfall plunging over the 90-metre (295-foot) Kilt Rock sea cliffs, pass by the iconic “The Old Man of Storr” rock pinnacle, and go for a walk to the gorge overlooking Lealt Falls.

You might even get to see some dinosaur footprints at the An Corran Beach at Staffin. You’ll return to your accommodation for the night and enjoy dinner as a group.

Hop on the ferry from Armadale to Mallaig on mainland Scotland. On the drive down to Loch Lomond, you will stop by the stunning Camusdarach Beach where you will have some time to admire the white sand and crystal-clear water.

You will then pass by Glenfinnan where you can visit the Glenfinnan Monument, overlooking the beautiful Loch Shiel, and admire the Glenfinnan Viaduct high above. You may recognise it from the Harry Potter film series.

Later, travel through Glen Coe, Scotland’s most famous valley. Here, you will go on a guided 20-minute walk, a perfect chance to take photos. Finally, you’ll arrive in Inveraray where you can explore at your leisure before enjoying a farewell dinner with your travel companions.

Today, board a flight to Dublin, Ireland for the final leg of your tour. Once you’ve checked into your hotel, the city is yours to explore. Its streets are eclectic, with a mix of heritage sites, museums and historic pubs.

You can take a stroll along the cobbled streets of the Temple Bar district or visit the historic Trinity College to see the ancient Book of Kells. Alternatively, you could enjoy an afternoon tea sightseeing tour of the city on a vintage bus or grab a pint at the Guinness Storehouse for a taste of the world-famous beer.

Spend the night in Dublin.

You have a whole day to explore Dublin, the Irish capital, at your leisure. You’ll find a city with an eclectic mixture of heritage sites, museums and historic pubs and there’s many ways to take advantage of it.

Learn more about Ireland’s troubled past at the Kilmainham Gaol or Dublin Castle. Or discover your own ties to Ireland at the EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. If it’s a sunny day, spend some of it outdoors at Phoenix Park. And another highlight you won’t want to miss is the famed St Patrick’s Cathedral.
