GO ON A STREET ART WALK IN DERRY
You’ll be able to admire the Bogside Murals in Derry, Northern Ireland.
They were produced by the Bogside Artists, William Kelly, Tom Kelly and Kevin Hasson. All 3 muralists were born and raised in the Bogside area of Derry and experienced the Troubles first-hand.
Through their wall murals, you’ll be able to learn and witness some historical events from Northern Irish, and especially Derry, history. This includes the Battle of the Bogside, Bloody Sunday, the fight for civil rights, and more.
Try to spot all 12 of them as you walk along Rossville Street, where most of them are dotted.
