Marko was helpful and informative. He or another knowledgeable staff member was always available to answer our questions.We ran into horrible weather halfway through the tour which closed the roads and he went out of his way to rebook our accommodation and activities. We had none of the headaches that other travellers had rebooking and cancelling. The accommodation level we had chosen was comfortable and adequate. Breakfasts were included and started us off well fed for our day's adventures. Hertz car rental was a roomy, quiet and economical Skoda, exceeding our expectations. We cancelled many activities due to changes caused by the inclement weather and received our refunds without a hassle through Nordic Visitor. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. We enjoyed working with Nordic Visitor as they supported and guided us from planning until we did the trip to Iceland. Looking forward to planning more trips with them to other countries.

Arrival at the hotel was well before check-in, but they offered a reduced-rate room. It would have been a really bad day without that brief rest. Hotel was not especially helpful for first-day activity. Fortunately, we were aware of hop-on/hop-off which took us to Perlan. Everything worked out, and when we were picked up the next morning, everything clicked.

Tour was excellent. However, do not expect to find any laundry facilities or services at 3 star hotels. Except in Reykyevik, there aren't any. You can go to a campground, but the equipment is typiclaly of limited availability and does not work well.

They were great to work with - we wanted to make a few changes to their standard itinerary and they were able to accommodate us. They were responsive to questions and provided us with plenty of information for our trip.

We had a wonderful time doing the south classic self driving tour. Quick communication with our trip advisor, timely pick ups and excellent recommendations of stops as well as optional activities. Our one issue was with the accommodation in Reykjavík - the hotel had very poor insulation on a busy road, had their hot water stop functioning entirely one evening and had one person checking in (we got stuck behind a tour group and it took them 30 mins to check them all in). Other than that, we highly recommend them.

When researching for Travel Services in Iceland, I found Nordic Visitor had many good reviews, they offered a wide variety of services from fully guided to self driving tours. We like the freedom of self driving tours due to flexibility. Our personal travel consultant, Sotiria was excellent in responding and answering the many questions that we had. Overall our trip was very well planned, all hotels, excursions, etc. were excellent. I would give Nordic Visitor a 5 star rating, except there were a couple of small things that could have been done better. A couple of our excursions were cancelled due to poor weather (Saturday). We were never informed by Nordic Visitor of these cancellations. I realize it was the weekend but..

Matt our travel consultant for Iceland was great and suggested Studlagil canyon which we would have missed otherwise! He booked several activities for us (we travel with an adventureous teenager!) and he carefully worked out the best timings for these in relation to our travel around the island. Everything went really smoothly and we had wonderful time!!
